Come and ride in Colonial style while you are visiting the Williasmburg Area. Horses have a great history in colonial times and now you can feel the true colonial expereince in the saddle. We offer an hour guided walking trail around a lake and throught the woods. We are open year round and would love to take you and your family out for a ride. Please call for reservations.

Celebrating its 60th season in 2010, Langley Speedway offers thrilling NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action from April to October. Experience the excitement of high-speed racing on a 4/10-mile track. Ten divisions race at Langley: Late Model Stock Cars, Grand Stocks, Super Streets, Super Trucks, Legends, UCARs, Modifieds, Pro Sixes, Winged Champ Karts and Enduros. Gates open at 1 PM, practice 2:00, qualifying 4:30, pre-race, 6:45 and racing starts at 7:00. Ticket prices are: Adults $10.00, Children 6-12 $5.00, and Under 6 free. Family four packs are available for $25.00. $2 discounts for military (active or retired, with ID) and senior citizens (60+, with ID). No charge for parking. Lawrence Lewis, Jr. Park is a 24-acre site located on the James River. It is a great place for fishing, bird watching and picnicking. Its amenities include a picnic area, comfort station, fishing and birding pier and a short swamp boardwalk leading to a wooded trail. The park is home to eagles, blue heron and other waterfowl. A Virginia Civil War Trails exhibit tells the story of Union army crossing the river from this landing in 1864. Six historical exhibits related to the 1600s connect the park to the John Smith Adventures on the James driving tour. The park is also a Chesapeake Bay Gateways site and a stop on the Virginia Birding and Wildlife tour. The park has separate entrances for the upper and lower levels – don’t miss half the park!
