Arena Racing is the Winter fix for all Motorsports fans. Racing indoors in the climate controled atmosphere of the Hampton Coliseum arena creates the ultimate family event. Up to 56 race teams compete in as many as 5 races per event for 250 laps on a high-banked track. Get there 1 hr early to come down and meet all the drivers, sit in their cars and get autographs. If you like to watch the races at Bristol, you will love Arena Racing. Watch these 1/2 scale cars compete for their share of the $35,000.00 championship. Celebrating its 60th season in 2010, Langley Speedway offers thrilling NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing action from April to October. Experience the excitement of high-speed racing on a 4/10-mile track. Ten divisions race at Langley: Late Model Stock Cars, Grand Stocks, Super Streets, Super Trucks, Legends, UCARs, Modifieds, Pro Sixes, Winged Champ Karts and Enduros. Gates open at 1 PM, practice 2:00, qualifying 4:30, pre-race, 6:45 and racing starts at 7:00. Ticket prices are: Adults $10.00, Children 6-12 $5.00, and Under 6 free. Family four packs are available for $25.00. $2 discounts for military (active or retired, with ID) and senior citizens (60+, with ID). No charge for parking.
