The Tall Ship ALLIANCE is a 105' gaff topsail schooner that takes daily sailing cruises from Riverwalk Landing Pier in historic Yorktown from May thru October. Join the ALLIANCE and step back into history aboard this three masted schooner as she sails down the York River under a cloud of canvas. Alliance sails 3 times daily: 11:00am - 1:00pm $30 adults, $18 child 12 and under 2:00pm - 4:00pm $30 adults, $18 child 12 and under 6:00pm - 8:00pm in May and August $35 per person 6:30 - 8:30pm in June and July (no child discount) 5:30 - 7:30pm in September 4:30 - 6:30pm in October. This graceful sailing ship is the largest, three-masted, passenger-carrying topsail schooner under U.S. flag. Modeled after Chesapeake Bay cargo schooners of the past century, the American Rover departs from The Waterside festival marketplace marina for narrated harbor cruises under sail along the Elizabeth River and Hampton Roads harbor. Anna Lynn Fishing is one of Virginia's top charter fishing services for the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean. The Anna Lynn is based out of Reedville for spring and fall Rockfishing, both trophy and light tackle chumming action. When fishing from Rudee Inlet in summer and winter, whether it is Spade fishing at the Light Tower or hitting the canyon for Tuna, the Anna Lynn is the right choice. Virginia Beach is quickly becoming known for its excellent winter Striped Bass fishery. Some are calling the Beach "The Striped Bass Capital of the World." If the 2007-08 winter were any indictation, it is well on its way! The winter months (Dec-March) are quickly becoming the most active for Anna Lynn Fishing. The fishing off of Virginia Beach is simply outstanding for fish from 20 to 50 lbs with limits of these big Bass almost daily.
