Join us for the 4th annual Aiken & Friends Fest – “A Celebration of Songwriters” on Sat., Oct. 3. Tidewater Virginia's Premier Americana/Roots Festival will feature national recording artist, Mike Aiken, & Grammy Winner Brad Davis, as well as local, regional & other national artists. 10:30 am - 5:30 pm on 2 outdoor stages at Joyner Field in downtown Smithfield. Adult beverages & concessions served. Saturday night at 7:30 pm the festival moves to the Smithfield Little Theater for a concert by Brad Davis & the Mike Aiken Band. Tickets: $30 in advance, $35 at the door. New this year...guitar & songwriting workshops with Mike & Brad on Friday, Oct. 2, 7:30 pm at the Little Theater. The late spring splendor of Lee Hall Mansion's beautiful grounds provide the setting for the Eighth Annual Summer Celebration Wine Festival. The finest vintages from Virginia's best wineries combine with live music, exquisite food and unique craft vendors to make this one of the Peninsula's most popular events. Tasting tickets $15 in advance and $20 at the gate. Non-tasting $10.00.

Driver Days Fall Festival offers down-home hospitality combined with good food, live music, a community pageant, pet costume contest, classic car show, poker run and bike show to highlight the unique shops in the quaint village in Northeastern Suffolk. Proceeds benefit the Driver Volunteer Fire Department and other local charities. Sat. 9am-6pm, Sun. 11am-5pm; Free general admission.
