Laura Barry, Colonial Williamsburg associate curator of prints, maps and paintings, explores the role of 18th-century prints and other graphics in revealing the day-to-day lives of early Americans. Join us for a weekend of history and family fun. Kid's activities include learning how drill like a Revolutionay War or World War Two Soldier, free model make-n-take, free toy soldier painting and more. Come see daily shows put on by Medieval Fantasies Co. who will be putting on various Medieval W.A.R. (Weapons and Armour Re-enactment) demonstrations and generally strolling about the venue in full suits of armor. They have promised demonstrations of real weapons and their effects demonstrated on ferocious pieces of fruit. There will be over 100 displays and vendors including history publishers, antique firearms, reeenactors, models, wargames, toy soldiers, sutlers, antiques, military art, militaria, uniforms, GI Joes and more. There will be a military artifact evaluation like "Antiques Road Show" where you can bring in an item and have

A variety of vintage military vehicles will be on display, including a German half-track, an ambulance, an armored car, jeeps, and military motorcycles. Vendors will be selling insignia, books, uniforms, and accoutrements. A special auction will be held on Saturday, beginning at 6pm. Admission is free to the show and museum.
